Supply Guide

Our Approach to STEAM Supplies

Our goal is to keep classroom materials simple, versatile, and easy to manage. We organize all materials into three core categories: Reusable, Consumable, and Recycling. Most of our projects can be completed using the same essential set of supplies. When additional materials are needed—such as LEGO® bricks, kitchen foil, or paper—they’re typically items already found in most classrooms.

We’re not a kit—we’re a curriculum.
Our focus is on creating high-quality STEAM learning experiences, with supplies playing a supporting role, not the main event. We’re a community of teachers, administrators, and parents dedicated to developing engaging, easy-to-implement STEAM curriculum that aligns with educational standards and truly works in real classrooms.

Flexible Classroom Setups

STEAM learning works best when materials are flexible and accessible—whether that’s through a mobile STEAM cart shared between classrooms or a dedicated STEAM space. Some projects limit students to only a few materials, while others invite a broader range of supplies. Either way, every activity is designed around the same core set of resources, so teachers aren’t overwhelmed by material management.

And if you’re the kind of teacher who loves using the million supplies you already have—great! Our curriculum is designed to be adaptable. You can always expand and customize with additional materials as you choose.

Need help setting up your STEAM cart or classroom? Let’s build a STEAM space that inspires innovation and hands-on learning!

Reusable Supplies

Available to use again and again. One set, like the one pictured, can be shared between three students.

Consumable Supplies

These supplies will need to be replenished over time, but can be found online, at most craft stores, or in your classroom already.

Recycling

Collected from the recycle bin. The recycling items pictured are some of our favorites, but this works best when you just use what you have on hand.
