The curriculum is designed for students in kindergarten through 5th grade, with lessons that can be adapted for different ages and ability levels.

Lessons are challenge-based and ideally done in groups of 2-3 students of mixed or the same age. Teachers provide students with a challenge question, supplies, and time to work. Students are encouraged to solve within their group, seeking teacher help only after the group has attempted first. Teachers are provided with step-by-step support in written, picture, and sometimes video form. Most lessons can be completed in one 45-60 minute class period, with optional extensions.

No. Lessons are designed so educators and parents without a STEAM background can confidently facilitate them. Guidance and support are built in.

Yes. Lessons align to relevant science, math, and art standards. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world problem solving, making them excellent addition for district use.

A complete supply list is included with your curriculum order. Lessons use a mix of reusable supplies, consumable supplies, and recycling. We also offer options to help with supply planning and organizing or provide supplies directly, depending on the plan you choose.

We offer three options: • Curriculum Only – digital access to curriculum materials + a list of recommended supplies • Curriculum + Video Chat Support – curriculum & supply list + video chat support • Homeschool Curriculum + Supply Box – curriculum + a shipped box of suggested reusable and consumable materials

The curriculum is delivered digitally and can be used online or printed as needed.

Support options vary by plan and may include onboarding resources, supply guidance, and access to help when questions arise. If your plan does not include video chat support, please email us your question. You won’t be left to figure things out alone!
